For the last several months your staff and leadership have been thinking about ways we can make our hybrid Sunday morning worship service more inclusive and connected for all. As such the Lay Ministers and I have been working on how to have Joys and Sorrows available to those attending on-line as well as in-person.

We have decided to forgo all in-person sharing of Joys and Sorrows. Instead everyone, regardless of how you are attending, will submit a joy or a sorrow you want to share which the Lay Minister will read during the service. After much thought and trial and error the Lay Ministry team has created a great Google form for submissions found here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSciiJkDKsdI8BY2ONI3NVxvIVijIMbuZil493VaF6d-z9YoBw/viewform

Going forward, the link to the form will be in the weekly email sent with all Sunday info and the newsletter.

Joys and sorrows received by Saturday morning will be shared on the following Sunday during the service. Depending on the number and amount submitted for any given Sunday, there may have to be some editing of submitted joys and sorrows during the Sunday service.

We know this is a big change yet with time and practice it will become easier to navigate and allow us to hear from more people each week.
