We had a wonderful yard sale on Saturday, taking in $2,343 before expenses. Thanks to all of you who donated time and treasures. Trader Jackie’s also had a banner year, taking in $1,926. Thank you, cooks, who added extra meals to your cooking schedule!
We cannot stop now. We will have the last organizing meeting for December 2 and 3 on Thursday, November 16, at 7:00 pm. Please come and contribute to our plans. If you aren’t able to make that date, please talk to one of us, Laurel Farnsworth, Judy Curby or Ruth Comstock, the three co-chairs. We need volunteers for set up Friday, sellers Saturday, clean up Saturday, sellers Sunday and clean up on Sunday. We need donations of small gifts, silent auction items, books, jewelry and baked goods. We will be clearing the stage after Sunday service on Sunday, November 26 to accept donations. You can bring them in all week between November 26 and December 2.
You will find some of us every Sunday at coffee hour sitting with sign up sheets next to the fantastic raffle quilt. Please come, sign up to help, and get your questions answered. We made over $18,000 last year. We want to beat that number. –Laurel Farnsworth
