Dear FUUSN community,

The Board of Trustees would like to thank Erin Splaine for her 12 years of dedicated service to FUUSN. Like many of you, we are also feeling sad for the anticipated loss of her leadership and spiritual sustenance when her final year ends with us in June of 2022. We are thankful that Erin has allowed time for us all to process her departure in all the myriad ways we humans process transitions, endings, new beginnings, losses, unknowns and opportunities.

Some may be wondering about next steps for our congregation. Technically there isn’t anything we need to do immediately. But we want to reassure you that the Board, in conjunction with the Operations Council, is developing plans to address the coming transition in ministerial leadership and will keep the community informed of next steps. Meanwhile, we are with you all as we process this news.
