Donations of Inspirational Books Needed by Sept. 10

The UU Urban Ministry is compiling a special library of inspirational works for its new Believe in Success program (Believe in Success readies survivors of abuse for new jobs).

We (your UUUM delegates) are seeking donations of books that inspire using stories of real people who have survived and transcended the issues in their past and present.

Books can be biographies or autobiographies of individuals (LGBTQ, male, female, all are welcome), and / or compelling historical accounts of individuals.

Please place your inspirational book donations in the marked cardboard box under the “What’s Going On / Where” sign in the hall by the back door from the FUUSN parking lot to the sanctuary.

The book donation box will be by the back door from Aug. 31 through Sept. 10.
