Holiday Fair

While we are waiting for all the expenses of the Holiday Fair to be submitted to get our final numbers, we want to salute everyone who came and helped set up, sell, buy, clean up. It was an amazing community effort and a wonderful fair. We want to particularly thank those people who year after year have come back to manage their tables and specialties; Linda Rinearson for organizing the Silent Auction, Ron Margolin for his wonderful lunch soups, Judy Zacek for the tempting variety at Marion’s Gourmet, Anne Hess Mahan for amazing baked goods (featuring Faith Krieder’s glorious gingerbread houses), Mike Arnott for the best Fair Trade Coffee and more, Barbara Schmidt for the lovely gift table, Lucy Boyle for the beautiful wreathes and swags, Lynne Karlson for overflowing books, and Denise Bousquet for organizing with such patience and thought thousands of pieces of jewelry. I think her table was mobbed for most of the day. Pat Rohan employs all his salesman skills to move out our remaining attic treasures. And this year, we had a new participant, David Mark, our knife sharpener, who was so oversubscribed, we had to stop accepting more work at noon. Thanks to all, Laurel, Ruth and Kit.
