Time to mark your calendars with some great upcoming musical events:

Chant Workshop
Saturday, November 12 at 10:00 am – 12:00 pm

Free. Brighton Allston Congregational Church. Teri Kowiak will lead a workshop on the basics of performing chant, including historically-informed singing style, the basics of modes and modal tuning, rhythm and rhetoric, regional Latin pronunciation, and tips on how to perform chant as an ensemble. The workshop will also touch on historical and modern notation systems, featuring those used for Gregorian chant and the music of Hildegard von Bingen. The workshop will run approximately two hours.
