Operations Council

Save the Date: December 1 is the annual FUUSN Holiday Fair. It is one of two major fundraisers that contribute significantly to our budget and a wonderful way to join with others in our community to meet new people as we work together. We set up the Silent Auction in the Chapel on Thursday, November 29, the Parish Hall on Friday, November 30 and open to the public on Saturday, December 1. We continue into Sunday morning, December 2 for the FUUSN community.

While you enjoy your Thanksgiving, give a thought to how you can help. Friends are making pickles, preserves, ginger treats and more now for Marion’s Gourmet Kitchen. Many people are planning to bake for the bake table. We need set up help Thursday, all hours on Friday, Friday night food prep for lunch soup, security and sales help during the fair on Saturday, Saturday clean up for services on Sunday and many hands to clean up on Sunday after coffee hour.

Fair activities are: Books, Wreathes, jewelry, quilt raffle, fair trade coffee and chocolate, gifts, Marion’s operations council (continued) Gourmet Kitchen, baked goods with amazing gingerbread houses, the Silent Auction, Ron’s lunch soup and the White Elephant tables. Please come to participate as you are able. Many thanks from your Fair co chairs: Kit Ryan, Ruth Comstock and Laurel Farnsworth
