The Over 60’s sponsors Claire Willis, author, lecturer and workshop leader who will present a workshop – “Creating a Legacy from Everyday Life — How Do We Want to be Remembered?” – Sunday, March 29, 11:45 to 1:30 pm in the Chapel.
Claire writes that most of us as we grow older share the wish to be remembered, to feel known, to feel that we belonged, that our lives have made a difference and to express our values, life lessons, and love to family and friends. By creating a spiritual/ethical will, we leave a record of who we are and have been. This becomes a written document to share with loved ones while we are here or after we are gone.
After her talk, which will address the universal psycho/social/spiritual concerns we share as we age, Claire will help us jump start the process of leaving our own lasting words and creating an ethical will. You will be given handouts so that you can continue the process of creating a legacy from your everyday life which reflects what is most essential to us.
The workshop is based on her book Lasting Words.
Light lunch provided. Mark you calendars and please join us for this inspiring and helpful event.
