Is It Enough?

David Egan is a lifelong Unitarian Universalist and a preacher’s kid.  During his career, he has worked as a professional stage actor, a drama teacher, and an art teacher in New Haven, Quincy, and Roxbury.  He is a recent graduate of Andover Newton Theological School, where he was the Worship Coordinator for UUCANS (the UU student group), was inducted into the Jonathan Edwards Honor Society, and studied abroad in Israel.  He served as a chaplain at Beverly Hospital and at the Grace Center, a homeless day shelter in Gloucester.  He served as a ministerial intern at First Parish UU in Canton, and at First Parish UU Hingham Old Ship Church.  He currently serves as the part-time Director of Family Ministry at the Arlington Street Church in Boston, and the part-time Program Director for the Friday Night Supper Program, providing a weekly 3-course meal and clothing to Boston’s underserved community.  He was recently granted Preliminary Fellowship from the Unitarian Universalist Association, and will be ordained at Old Ship Church one week from today!   David lives in Quincy with his wife of 16 years, Karina, and their two daughters Maya (14) and Lyla (8).
