1. The annual UU Mass Action Advocacy Day is coming up April 13, from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm. It covers many bills on such things as housing and criminal justice that activists talk about with their senators and House representatives. Demie Stathoplos is leading the meeting with Senator Cynthia Creem around 2PM.

For these virtual meetings you need to register by April 6 to get a list of bills we are supporting and promoting.

2. Learn more about the Newton Climate Action Plan by attending a zoom meeting with Liora Silkes on Thursday, April 22, 7:00-8:00 pm. Watch for more information from Demi Stathoplos. (Liora is Newton’s energy coach.)

3. Hunger and food insecurity is still a major problem for many people in the Boston area. This year Karen Lein is doing a virtual walk in the Walk for Hunger, May 2, and welcomes financial support for Project Bread. klein76@verizon.net FUUSN families have participated in this event for years.
