Social Action Lunch and Guest Speaker, May 20

All are welcome to come hear our guest speaker at the Social Action lunch at 11:45 a.m. this Sunday, May 20, in the Alliance Room.

Rev. Dr. Bill Gardiner of Unitarian Universalist Mass Action and leader of End Mass Incarceration Together will talk about recently passed Comprehensive Criminal Justice Legislation and next steps organizing to humanize criminal justice in Massachusetts.

Rev. Dr. Gardiner previously served as minister for congregations in Philadelphia, PA; Wash, DC; and Nashville, Tennessee and was on the staff of the Unitarian Universalist Association in the Faith and Action Department for almost 15 years.  He enjoyed the Social Justice Empowerment Program working with hundreds of local congregations across the country to develop effective Social Justice programs in their congregations.  He currently serves on an LGBTQIA+ Rainbow Commission in Arlington.
