After many years of Bible study and explorations of Islam and Buddhism, the World Religions Study Group will turn its attention to our own religious history and culture. For the fall and early winter, our text will be American Gospel: God, The Founding Fathers, and the Making of a Nation by Jon Meacham. The book is available in paperback. The group meets from 8:00 to 9:00 am on alternate Tuesday mornings (the dates are listed below). There will be relatively short reading assignments (approximately 35 pages to be read during the 2 weeks between classes). There is no fee for this class, but you should register by contacting Judy Zacek (jczacek@comcast.net) by Sept. 11.
