In the midst of your Thanksgiving plans, don’t forget the Fair. Circle December 4 on your calendar for our annual day of coming together for amazing baked goods, jam and jellies, chutneys and pickles, books, gifts, wreathes and swags, jewelry, handcrafts and more. We need volunteers:
To bake and deliver their greatest hits on Friday, to put up their favorite pickles, jams and jellies, etc. and again deliver on Friday. We will be taking it all in all day.
Thursday night to set up tables and shelves in the Parish Hall, on the stage and in the Alliance Room.
Friday night to sort the books, gifts, wrap baked goods, hang the lights and make all ready for Saturday morning.
Saturday 9-2 to staff tables, take credit card on Square (no experience necessary – we will train you and your smart phone), help people in and out, wrap more baked goods, etc.
Then Saturday at 2:00, we need 20 people or more to take it all down and put everything back together for Sunday. The more we have, the faster it goes.
Please let me known what you can do. Many thanks from all the Fair committee, Ruth Comstock, Sandy Jones, Barbara Schmidt, Kit Ryan and more. Laurel Farnsworth
