Dear All,

People have strong feelings about the issue of the ministers’ pictures, and also the Eighth Principle proposal. We would like to give each of you the opportunity to voice your viewpoint, and to consider others’ perspectives, in a caring and respectful way. To do this we hope you’ll join us in small listening circles at FUUSN (in person, outdoors) from 6 to 7:30 pm this coming Friday, May 20, and on zoom from 3 to 4:30 pm on Saturday May 21.

(We acknowledge that the Friday meeting will conflict with Vespers, but wanted it to be after work hours, and Saturday’s predicted weather is not ideal for an outside in person meeting.)

The circles are meant to allow you to say what’s at the heart of this for you, and to know that fellow members have listened to your perspective as fully as possible. Our Moderator, Dwight Golann, will lead the discussion, and we’ll be ready to create moderated small groups to ensure that everyone can be heard.
