The First Unitarian Universalist Society in Newton Lifespan Religious Education Program is staffed by a full-time director of lifespan religious education, a part-time assistant director of religious education, and a part-time youth programs coordinator. They work together with the lay-led Religious Education Council to provide programs for the society’s lifespan learning community.

Religious Education Council: This council is a volunteer oversight body for the Lifespan Religious Education program.  This Council is responsible for long range planning, policy decisions, and problem-solving as related to the overall functioning of the RE program.  It meets monthly with the RE staff and consists of a chair, subcommittee reps, and 3 members-at-large.
