Greg Sullivan will be offering free yoga classes Sunday afternoons in the Headstart room at FUUSN. If you are interested in attending, please send an email to Greg at gregs@sulliwood.org or call him at (617) 417-4746. The first class is next Sunday, November 12, from 4:00-5:00 pm!

Greg has been training to be a yoga teacher for several years now. The particular style of yoga that he practices, and that he is training to teach, is called Iyengar yoga. The process of becoming a certified Iyengar teacher is quite rigorous, including a two-year teacher training course that Greg has completed, many workshops, assisting senior teachers, and finally a formal assessment involving a written test, demonstrated practice, and a live teaching session assessed by trained observers. As part of his preparation for assessment, Greg needs to practice teaching. Greg will be recording the classes at FUUSN and sharing the videos with his two “recommending” teachers to get their feedback. He will not share the video with anyone else. The hour-long classes  at FUUSN are open to all ages and all abilities.

More regular classes will be planned after the New Year.
