The CRE committee is so excited to coordinate an opportunity for togetherness and connection while so many of us are home for the holidays this year. This year, we will pair families together to be pen pals (via snail mail!) – giving families an opportunity to send letters, small crafts or whatever else strikes their fancy.
Please fill out the below form on behalf of your family, if you’re willing to participate.
Our hope is that ALL FUUSN families will sign up!
Please note: Your submission of this form commits you to sending one letter to your assigned pen pal between the dates of December 1 and December 21.
A few suggestions for ways to add holiday magic to your pen pal creations:
– Get the little ones involved! Encourage the drawing of pictures and the creation of storybooks
– Consider the addition of bright colors, stickers and illustrations
– Glitter glitter and more glitter
– Consider a homemade or store bought holiday card that might bring smile to someone’s face
Timeline of events:
Oct 26-Nov 20: Gathering of participants via google form
Nov 23-27: Participating families will be paired up via email, and introduced to their pen pal
Dec 1-21: All pen pal letters should be mailed during this time
