Greetings! I’m Gordon Moriarty, and I am the Lay Minister on call for the month of March. Please contact me if you’d like to chat about challenges or concerns in your life, or if I might be able to help connect you with other sources of help and support. My contact info is below.
For those who don’t know me, here is a little background information. My wife, Stacey, and I came to FUUSN around 2000 to enroll our daughters, Lee and Lauren, in the RE program. Through a mysterious set of circumstances, I soon found myself teaching RE, mentoring in Coming of Age, helping with the By-Laws, serving on the Board, and now serving as a Lay Minister.
In my professional life, I was an electrical engineer with Westinghouse Electric for eight years before coming to Boston for law school in 1990. I retired last November following thirty-plus years as an intellectual property attorney.
I am grateful to be a prostate cancer survivor. When my knees, achilles tendons, hamstrings, etc. are cooperating, I am a distance runner, having completed the Boston Marathon a number of times. And I love taking my dog, Scout, for long hikes.
I look forward to connecting with you.
