To walk the entire 6.8 miles, (2.5-3 hours) try to get to Fields Corner for 8:00am opening ceremonies. Walk begins at 8:30 am.To carpool, meet Josie (617 513-2814) in Bank Lot across from FUUSN at 7am. If you can, please let her know if you plan on being there and whether you need a ride or can offer rides. We leave at 7am with the FUUSN Banner! If you drive on your own, there will be school buses available at City Hall to return you to start point after the rally or people can return to Newton via public transportation.

Prefer to begin at mid-way point? (3-mile,1-1.5 hour) ideal for family’s with young children and others looking for a shorter trek! Start at Madison Park High School in Roxbury. If you want to carpool, Meet Bill D (617 755-4401), Dana H.(617 515-0287), & Julia H (617 817-0006) in Bank lot across from FUUSN at 8am. This allows time to drive to the UU Urban Ministry where Rev. Mary Margaret has invited us to park and stop by before walking down to performances/speakers which begin at 8:30am. We will meet up with FUUSN team coming from Dorchester who arrive around 9:30/9:45am. For those driving in, the UU Urban Ministry is at 10 Putnam St. Boston 02119. Parking also available at Roxbury Community College (see below) Let Bill Dusett (617 755-4401) know if you need or can offer rides! School buses are available to take folks from City Hall to mid-way point after the rally or you can return to Newton via public transportation.

**Post- Walk Gathering At Val and Gregg’s House, 1:30-3:00pm

Gregg Dibiaso and Val Miller have graciously offered to host a “Post-Walk” gathering on Sunday afternoon. Kids welcome. Please let Val/Josie know if you plan to attend and if you can, bring along a beverage and/or snack to share. Drinks and Pizza will be provided.
