Come to the Annual FUUSN Musicians Concert on Sunday, February 9, 3:00 pm in the FUUSN Sanctuary. The concert is FREE; donations will be gratefully accepted for the UU Urban Ministry, www.uuum.org. “For nearly 200 years, the UU Urban Ministry has been working side-by-side with individuals and communities in Boston to create opportunities and instill hope for a brighter future.”
On February 9 you’ll hear your favorite FUUSN musicians:
• Renowned pianist Lois Shapiro

• Professional saxophonist and composer Geoff Wadsworth

• Multi-instrumentalist and composer Dexter Wadsworth

• Guitarist, pianist and composer Bob MacWilliams,

• Eric Haas and Jonathan Axon on banjo and fiddle

• Chamber music duo Paul Antonucci and Debra Minard

• FUUSN singers Karen Burns, Joan Caplan, Jim Cook, Meredith Ritter,

   Jacki Rohan

• Singer and guitarist Chip Highfield

• Jim Cook performing “American Tune”

• George Batchelor on at least three instruments (bass, trumpet, voice)

• Mandolinists Brian Hicks and Natalie Jensen

• Ted Hess-Mahan, debuting his “Blues Waltz in B minor”

• The Eric Moore and Lorenz Glaser Rhythm Section, anchoring FUUSioN, our intrepid FUUSN Band, which will perform music by The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, along with a patented George Batchelor mashup…and more!

There will be a fantastic array of musical styles and moods: classical works, traditional fiddle tunes, original jazz compositions, and more. And we’ll continue our tradition of Cookies at Intermission! The concert is free and open to the public. Donations will be gratefully accepted for the UU Urban Ministry.
