Flower Ceremony Rev. Parisa Parsa
This year marks 100 years since Norbert Čapek initiated the flower ceremony at the congregation he served in Prague. The flower ceremony is meant to celebrate the ways we come together, as individual, unique beings with beauty all our own, and create a great and wondrous bouquet in community. It was a radical act then, as it is now, to proclaim the sacredness of each person in community. We will celebrate and welcome new members, dedicate children to the care of this congregation, and experience in song and story the powerful ways our beauty shines when we come together!
Please bring a flower with you to the service this morning!!
