Transgender Day of Remembrance

Transgender Day of Remembrance which occurs annually on November 20, is a day to memorialize those who have been killed as a result of transphobia, and to bring attention to the continued violence endured by the transgender community. Additionally, during the week of November 13-20, individuals and organizations around the country participate in Transgender Awareness Week, to help raise the visibility of transgender and gender non-conforming people and address the issues these communities face
